Tony is the founder and president of TEK Utilities. In his previous role, Tony managed Capital.Energy, an Ohio based retail supplier, from startup to over 50,000 customers and 1,000,000 MWh of annual load until its sale in 2019. He took his experience from this position to focus on the most beneficial aspects of retail energy, helping business with their energy management. His focus is on providing the best experience to all involved, clients and associates alike, while maintaining a company focused on Corporate Responsibility.

Personal Fact: TEK Utilities is named after Tony’s children’s initials, Tommy and Ellie King, as a constant reminder that our company was founded with the ideal to be an example of doing the right thing in business and life.

Prior to joining TEK, Stefan spent 10 years building relationships and providing value to clients in the retail industries including managing multiple locations and supervising over 50 employees. The number one thing he takes pride in is to ensure that he is loyal and transparent to all clients and staff he guided or mentored.

Personal Fact: Stefan spends his free time enjoying life with his wife and three kids, being outdoors, powerlifting and THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES!

Stefan Gizzi

Steve is our Director of Risk Management and longest tenured energy industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. Steve spent the first part of his career trading wholesale energy in PJM, NYISO and ISONE before utilizing his knowledge to direct risk management departments for multiple retail suppliers in the same regions. Steve brings an immense amount of wholesale knowledge not typically found at the broker level which directly benefits our clients by allowing us to better manage their energy spend.
Personal Fact: Steve is a licensed fishing boat captain and lifelong fisherman in the Houston/Galveston area.

Scott is our Director of Technoloy, dedicated to improving productivity and efficiency through the use of technology an integral part of making our process as effortless for not just our clients but also our associates. He has 20 years of experience in all forms Information Technology, Information Systems, and Data Analytics across various industries including, Energy, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Staffing, Medical, Construction, and City Governments.

Personal Fact: Scott spends much of his free time honing his woodworking skills.

Sam is the office dog that we bring in every day for moral support around the office. He is well trained, respectful, and always looking to bring a smile to your face. Whether he is looking for a treat or pets, he loves building connections with the office staff.

Personal Fact: Sam enjoys long walks on the beach at sunset and you can see more pictures of him on all our social media pages.

Abbie Brown was the first hire at TEK Utilities and spent multiple summers here as an intern. She has been opened to many opportunities in the company, with a current focus on managing our marketing. Abbie excels at building and managing our website and social media platforms.

Personal Fact: Abbie earned her first degree black belt in close quarter combat training at the age of 17.
